When I started teaching in August 2000, it was a different world. Back then, most classrooms had minimal tech, and some still had old-school green chalkboards. Though many things have changed, my math and science students all still need love, security, and patience as we help them navigate a complex world.

Early in my career, I realized that "stand and deliver" teaching would not work. Students needed and deserved much more than that. This led to two decades of research on best practices and methods to increase engagement. I discovered that students are more successful when they can name and claim the steps they use to solve problems. Hence, the Process Learning system was born.

It has taken many forms over the years, but as I approach retirement, I have started working to get all of the process curriculum I've developed into a publishable form. I hope it will work for you!
